Terms of Service

1. The Service

Sleepcast provides AI-generated audio recordings — bedtime stories, guided sleep relaxations, dull lectures, and similar — intended to help users fall asleep. Audio is delivered via the Web only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you’re under 18 you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account & access

Sign-in is passwordless via email magic link or a passkey you register. You’re responsible for keeping access to the email or device used to authenticate. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support; account data is removed within 30 days (subscription billing records are retained for accounting/legal compliance).

4. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream the audio for personal, non-commercial use. You may not download, redistribute, resell, broadcast publicly, sample, remix, or train an AI model on the audio. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Subscriptions & billing

• Free: 3 free track plays per calendar month, no charge.
• Premium: $5.99 / month, auto-renewing each month until canceled. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice; you’ll be charged the current rate at renewal.
• Payment is processed through our billing provider (RevenueCat via Stripe). Card data is handled by them, not us.
• Cancellation: cancel any time from your account page. Premium remains active until the end of the current billing period; no further charges occur.
• Refunds: we offer pro-rated refunds within 14 days of the most recent charge for any reason. Email hi@sleepcast.pro and we’ll process it. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.
• Failed payment: if a renewal charge fails, your Premium access continues for a short grace period while we retry. If the issue isn’t resolved, the account reverts to Free.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service.
• Circumvent any plan limit, paywall, or quota.
• Use automated tools to download audio in bulk.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute audio.
• Use the Service to harm yourself or others.

7. Health disclaimer

Sleepcast is entertainment and a sleep aid. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional treatment of any sleep disorder, mental-health condition, or other medical issue. If you’re struggling with sleep, talk to a clinician.

8. Intellectual property

All audio, scripts, brand assets, and software are owned by sleepcast.pro or our licensors. “Sleepcast” and the sleepcast.pro mark are our trademarks.

9. Service changes & uptime

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability and aren’t liable for downtime, but we’ll work to minimize it.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, sleepcast.pro will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, sleep, or business arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the past 12 months or (b) USD $50.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Changes to these Terms

If we materially change these Terms, we’ll email subscribers and post the new version here at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
